Chairman and Managing Director
Rod is a versatile management professional with over 35 years experience in Australia, New Zealand, the EU, China, South-East Asia, India, and the US. Having founded DC Strategy, he is considered one of the world’s foremost franchising, licensing and business network consultants.
Rod is a key advisor to many of Australasia’s leading branded networks, transforming smaller businesses into national and international chains and steering larger organisations in using: franchising, licensing, dealer and associated distribution models as a capital raising, management, HR and marketing tools.
Rod’s interests have also included roles as a franchisee in his early career, as a franchisor and in the last two decades as a sought-after board director of national and international networks.
Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer
Nina’s experience covers commercial and corporate advice and contract drafting, litigation, intellectual property registrations, advice and disputes and insolvency matters.
Nina has worked in Trade Mark examination at IP Australia, and with clients across fashion, IT, not-for-profit, and food product manufacturing/distribution/services.
Nina engages clients with a keen eye for detail and helps to grow their business network, develop their business to achieve their goals.
Nina has been exposed to many legal issues covering commercial and corporate advice, contract drafting, litigation, intellectual property registrations, advice and disputes and insolvency matters.
Nina is admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. She has completed a Bachelors Degree in Arts (Linguistics and History) and Law, along with a Masters in Management from the University of Sydney.
Head of Franchise Sales & Devleopment
James has been inducted as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE).
As head of the Franchise Recruitment division at DC Strategy, James currently consults to over 15 franchisors. With a focus on their lead generation and recruitment strategies both domestically and internationally. These brands include large networks and start-up franchises.
James has been involved with over 40 franchise businesses and granted over 300 franchises in a number of different industries. He has taken numerous brands to new international markets including the US, New Zealand, Mauritius, Middle East and Asia.
